2 deals signed on services and climate at SAARC 16th summit

SAARC foreign ministers have signed a deal on trade in services and a convention on environment cooperation.

Each of the ministers signed the agreements at the concluding session of the 16th summit in presence of the heads of state and government at the Grand Assembly Hall.
Bhutanese premier Jigmi Y Thinley presided over the session.
The deals will come into effect after ratification by all members.
Thinley told the concluding session that the two deals would forge closer cooperation among the members.
